Hello, how are you today. Here’s some easy reading for you!
Inspired by your blog… I want to share with you a little of my music preference. One of my favorite artist is Tori Amos.
Nearly 20 years ago she released the album “Little Earthquake,” which I was introduced to that CD while in college. It really blew my mind. She is so talented—writing , playing and singing her own music. For me, “Little Earthquake” was an intense experience because it was filled with her raw emotion. I thoroughly enjoyed every track on that CD. I will, however, make mention to one song-- “Happy Phantom.” Perhaps it was the most upbeat track on that CD. While listening to the song, I can picture her fingers dancing between the keys on her piano, happy. Yet, the song is about death—her fantasizing a life beyond—as the reality, her life, has too much pain and uncertainty.
“From the Choirgirl Hotel,” is another CD, which I enjoy every track. This is quite a few years later in 1998. Her musical talent was pushed to the next level by her widened perception/perspective of life. At the age of 35, she finally became comfortable in her own skin, maybe for the 1st time. Her new found confidence and maturity gave her music more dimensions. The feelings of despair from the lost of love and hope fuels this album, but the controlled emotions is far from a cry out as her earlier years.
Then came “Scarlet Walk,” released in 2002. WOW, what can I say… Every track was beautiful. Yes, I used the word beautiful! It’s hard to believe the same artist would produced both “Crucify” and “A Sorta Fairytale.” If a song could be defined by a shape, “A Sorta Fairytale” is a circle. It curves up goes back down, yet smooth and complete. The music video for this song is quite exquisite as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uho2NQw1GY
There you have it, my three favorite CDs by Tori! There is just one more song I would like to mention—“Sweet the Sting” from “The Beekeeper.” Highly enjoyable!!!

I realized I have not made a comment on your posting. But I did try to read it and understood most of it. Well, thanks to the help of http://www.spanishdict.com/translation :)
